ABSTRACT

Objectives:

The purpose of this study was to prescribe the first hearing aids with highest performance for the patients who have sensoryneural hearing loss.

Materials and Methods:

Insertion gain measurements were performed in 58 patients.

Results:

High performance was noted for the hearing aids that were selected by subjecti-ve and objective methods. There were no patients suffering from hearing aids, during the follow-up.

Conclusion:

Insertion gain measurements are the practical and objective methods of hea-ring aids' evaluation. The expected performance would be obtained from the hearing aids that are prescribed by these measurements.
