ABSTRACT

In order for a health system to reach its main objective, that is, to produce health, it has to have a human resource capacity with an adequate quantity and quality. Creating this capaticy is possible with employing appropriate skill-mix workers at the right time and in the the right place. This capacity can be established from national resources as well as through employment of health workers at international level. International migration of health workers has become an important issue in the international health policy agenda in recent years. In this context, this study will put into place the causes of international migration of health care workers.
