ABSTRACT

Acute otitis media (AOM) is a disease which is commonly seen by family physicians, pediatricians and otorhinolaryngologists. After the widespread use of antibiotics the complications of AOM sig-nificantly decreased. In this study, two different cases of giant mastoid abscess encountered within two weeks are presented with radiological findings and treatment modalities. Approach to the mas-toid abscess is discussed with the literature on the subject.
