Two female patients (aged 47 and 30 years) who applied with the complaints of dysphagia, sore throat, hemoptysis, and a mass in the throat have been reported. The computed tomography evaluation of both patients indicated lesions with lingual location, extending to the preglottic fat tissue. In the first patient, prominent contrast enhancement was observed, while in the second pa-tient, no contrast enhancement was detected but surrounding calcification was noted. The lingual lesions of the patients, which were at the normal location contained no thyroid tissue, were total-ly removed. Their histopathological results were compatible with multinodular goiter. Literature presents reports of only two cases of lingual thyroid ectopia with multinodular goiter based on the histopathological findings. Thus, the rare cases reported here are noteworthy.
