Urinary incontinence is a common problem in women with significant consequences on health and quality of life. In this report, we, as the Guideline Working Group of the Turkish Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery Association, aimed to evaluate and review the current guidelines for the management of urinary incontinence. We mainly aimed to identify and put forward the generally agreed, common clinical approaches of these guidelines, thus providing clear and indisputable steps for diagnosis and treatment of women with urinary incontinence. We also intended to underline and make a better understanding of the controversial issues that have not reached consensus yet.
