Physical examination of a 6-year old girl who complains about scantness of movement and mild pain reveals tough, slightly painful indurations around both shoulder joints and restriction of shoulder movement. Additionally, hallux valgus in the left toe and enlargement of bones around right metacarpal region were detected. Heterotopic ossifications in thorax wall and around shoul-der joints were seen on X-ray and computed tomography. A typical case of progressive ossificant fibrodysplasia is presented with X-ray and computed tomography images.
