Idiopathic atrophoderma of Pasini and Pierini is a rare disease of dermal atrophy with sharply bordered hyperpigmented patches without induration along. Lesions are solitary or multiple, round or irregular shaped. Colours of the lesions may be brown, blue or violaceus but the skin surface seems normal without induration. Recently, atrophoderma of Pasini and Pierini has been reported to be a superficial variant of localised morphea due to similar clinical and histopatholo-gical properties. Here, we present a case of 17-year-old boy with three- year history of idiopathic atrophoderma of Pasini and Pierini.
